- The site is meant for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13.

2. Who we are and what this policy covers
BoggleGameOnline.com (“BoggleGameOnline”, “we”, “us” or “our”) runs a free online word game at bogglegameonline.com. This privacy policy explains how we handle information when you visit or use the website, play the game, or contact us (together, the “Service”).
This policy is written to meet the requirements of the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA), the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), other US state privacy laws, and Google’s publisher policies. By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you give us
You do not need to give us any personal information to play. If you email us or use our contact form, we receive your name, email address and anything you choose to include in your message. Please don’t send sensitive information, such as passwords, financial details or health information.
3.2 Information stored only on your device
The game uses your browser’s local storage to save your level progress, stars and best scores so they are there when you return. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.
3.3 Information collected automatically
When you visit, our servers and third-party partners automatically receive certain technical information, including:
- IP address and approximate location (city, region or country) based on it
- Browser type, operating system, device type, screen size and language
- Pages viewed, time spent, links clicked, referring website and the date and time of your visit
- Cookie identifiers, advertising identifiers and information about ads you see or click
3.4 Information we do not collect
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, such as Social Security numbers, financial account details, precise geolocation, health information or biometric data. We do not ask for accounts or passwords.
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- Run the game, remember your progress on your device and keep the site working properly
- Show advertising that helps keep the Service free, including personalized ads where permitted
- Understand how visitors use the site, so we can fix bugs and improve features
- Reply to your messages, feedback and privacy requests
- Detect, prevent and respond to fraud, abuse, security problems and invalid ad traffic
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
5. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device. Websites also use similar technologies such as web beacons, pixels and local storage. We and our partners use them for these purposes:
- Essential: to load pages securely and save your game progress in local storage.
- Analytics: to count visits and see how the site is used (Google Analytics).
- Advertising: to show, limit and measure ads, and personalize them where allowed (Google AdSense).
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. If you block all cookies, ads may be less relevant and some features may not work as expected. Clearing site data will also reset your saved game progress.
6. Advertising and Google AdSense
We may use Google AdSense to show advertisements on this site. When ads are shown, third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
Google and its partners may collect identifiers, device information and browsing activity for this purpose. You can learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and How Google uses cookies in advertising.
You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time:
- Visit Google My Ad Center to turn off personalized ads from Google.
- Visit www.aboutads.info/choices (Digital Advertising Alliance) or optout.networkadvertising.org (Network Advertising Initiative) to opt out of personalized ads from many participating companies.
Opting out does not remove ads. You will still see ads, but they will be less tailored to your interests. Other third-party ad vendors or networks may also serve ads on our site, and they may use cookies in the same way.
7. Analytics and Google Analytics
We may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site, such as which pages are popular and how long visits last. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information like pages visited, device and browser details, approximate location and referring sites. We use these reports only in aggregate and do not use Google Analytics to identify you personally.
Learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy. To prevent Google Analytics from using your data, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
8. How we share information
We share information only in these situations:
- Service providers: companies that host the website, deliver content, send email or provide security, under contracts that limit how they may use the information.
- Advertising and analytics partners: Google and other ad vendors described in sections 6 and 7, which receive information through cookies and similar technologies.
- Legal reasons: when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users, the public or us.
- Business transfers: if the site is sold, merged or transferred, information may move to the new owner, who will remain bound by this policy for information collected under it.
- With your consent: in any other case where you ask us to or agree that we may.
We do not sell personal information for money. Allowing advertising partners to collect information for personalized ads may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” for targeted advertising under some US state laws. You can opt out as described in section 9.
9. Your privacy choices
- Turn on Global Privacy Control (GPC) in a supported browser or extension. Whenever personalized advertising is active on the site, we treat a GPC signal as a valid opt-out request for that browser.
- Turn off personalized ads in Google My Ad Center and the industry opt-out tools listed in section 6.
- Email contact@bogglegameonline.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share”.
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting. Because there is no common industry standard for DNT, our site does not currently respond to DNT signals. We do honor Global Privacy Control signals as described above.
Cookies and local storage
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and clear local storage to remove your saved game data.
Emails
We do not send marketing emails. We only email you to reply to a message you send us.
10. Children’s privacy (COPPA)
BoggleGameOnline is a general-audience word game. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Children can play without giving us any personal information, because no account or sign-up is needed.
Children under 13 should not use our contact form or email us. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it promptly.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information, contact us at contact@bogglegameonline.com. We will review, delete the information and stop any further collection. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
11. US state privacy rights

- Right to non-discrimination: we will not deny service, charge different prices or provide a lower quality of service because you exercised your rights.
How to make a request
Email contact@bogglegameonline.com with the subject “Privacy Request” and tell us which right you want to use and your state of residence. Because we operate only online, email is our method for receiving requests. Opt-out requests can also be made with Global Privacy Control.
We do not have accounts, so we usually cannot link cookie or device data to a name or email. To protect your privacy, we may ask for information to verify your request, such as details about how you contacted us. We will respond within 45 days, and may extend this by another 45 days when reasonably necessary, in which case we will tell you.
Authorized agents
You may use an authorized agent to make a request for you. We may ask the agent for written permission signed by you and may ask you to verify your identity directly with us.
Appeals
If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision with the subject “Privacy Request Appeal”. We will respond to your appeal within the time required by your state’s law, usually 45 or 60 days. If you are not satisfied with the result, you may contact your state attorney general.

14. How we protect information
The site is served over HTTPS, and we limit the information we collect in the first place. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is operated from the United States, and information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Data protection laws there may differ from those where you live.
